Copper and Brass
These works were specially commissioned for Park hotels Baga.
The artist personifies himself as a parrot tulip (a hybrid person forced to adapt to living in the modern times). He understands and respects the order laid down by the Head Gardener in the ancient texts and yet has learnt to flourish through adaptation. The turban appears to have been unfurled from a tight bud, but is a mere illusion in motion. The Dervish, though spinning, is still at the heart, and the centre holds within chaotic abundance, and he is at one with God.
